Nowadays the idea of scientific (academic/research) integrity is gaining popularity
in Ukraine due to the integration of the country into the world academic community and
technological progress. Nonetheless, the significant efforts of enthusiastic researchers and
academicians often fail owing to the fact that the culture of honest research has not yet
been established well enough in our society and due to the lack of control and oversight.
These and other reasons for dishonest practices in scientific domain are covered in the
